Protests in Belgrade against the festival promoting Kosovo-Albanian art

Serbian protesters gathered in Belgrade against a festival that promotes the culture of Kosovo Albanians.

The protest took place one day after Serbia put the army in high alert, after 19 persons were arrested during a police operation in Northern Kosovo, of Serbian majority.

The purpose of the festival is to end the disagreements between Serbian and Albanian communities through films, debate and exhibitions. The festival that started in 2014 is titled “Miredita, dobar dan”.
