12,000 books were damaged one week ago at the National Library, by floods caused by heavy rains, and the library workers are drying them with hair driers.
But can books be saved this way? Many activists from the civil society gathered to protest the process. They blame the Director, whose picture they had put on a hair drier.
“This is a crime and the state stays silent against this savage murder against the knowledge of the Albanian nation”, said activist Brizida Gjikondi.
“Since the institution of moral resignation is inexistent, the Prosecution needs to move”, said Professor Erion Kristo.
Activists demand the government and the Prosecution to find those responsible for the huge damage.
