Protesters and actors clash with police, refuse plan for new theater

Police forces were gathered to assist the theater employees as they remove the materials from the building that will be demolished soon.

Several citizens and artists who oppose the government’s decision to build a new national theater have clashed with the police.

Director Robert Budina accused the police of using violence against him.

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, joined the protesters and said that the project for the new theater was corruptive.
