Dozens of employees from the Energetic Company “Elektrokosmet” in
Northern Mitrovica protested on the bridge of the Iber River against the
extension of the Kosovo authority in its entire territory.

The protesters started marching from the company building to the bridge where they stopped for several minutes. They held Serbian flags and banners “We are not parallel institutions”, “Kosovo is Serbia”, and other extremist banners against Prishtina’s authorities. After staying for 10 minutes in the bridge of Iber, the protesters returned in the building of the Energetic Company.

The illegal function of this company has caused a loss of millions of Euros to the Kosovo budget. “Eletrokosmet” has even collected the bills for the energy that the northern residents take from the Kosovo Energetic Corporation.
