Protest continues in Tirana, demands for release of protesters arrested in Kukes

The protest that started in front of the Kukes Police moved today to Tirana’s main Police Department building.

Dozens of citizens demanded the release of those who were arrested in Kukes for the violent protest that erupted at the Nation’s road.

Members of the opposition and Democratic Party Youth Forum joined the protest, but their arrival did not receive a warm welcome by the citizens.

Some of them tried to enter the building, which caused some tension, but it passed without major incidents.
