Eight Elbasan-Mollas line buses have paralyzed the public transportation for 13.000 residents of some villages.
The cause of this protest that went on for 24 hours was dishonest competition and the establishment of secondary lines outside all rules set by law, by damaging the licensed vehicles.
According to the Head of the Bus Association, Qamil Cerriku, some buses that have licenses for other lines also work in this segment by causing others to fail.
Police was present during the protest, with the bus drivers threatening to block the Elbasan-Kucove national road, if the institutions would not be able to take measures for resolving this situation.
