The Prosecution General is still verifying Aqif Rakipi, the MP of the
Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity, after a request of the
Democratic Party. The Prosecution says they are waiting the answer of
some foreign authorities.
Prosecutor General Adriatik Llalla met with Prime Minister Edi Rama, by request of the latter.
The meeting focused on the request of the Democratic Party, regarding deep verifications against MP Aqif Rakipi, based on the “Decriminalization” law.
In this meeting Llalla guaranteed that the Prosecution General would continue to make deep verifications for all cases, also by their initiative, if information is secured by data processed by the Prosecution.
The Prosecutor General underlined that they are cooperating with other authorities who have the duty to make preliminary verifications of the decriminalization law, focusing on the Central Election Commission, as the institution that makes the preliminary processing of figures voted to the local and central governments.
