Prosecution’s arrest order, Doshi: Meta hides behind it for making me silent

“They are trying to make political prisoners in 2015. They are trying to shut my mouth after I reported a crime in which is involved the Parliament Speaker of Albania. Vladimir Putin kills and imprisons political opponents in Russia. Now Ilir Meta controls all the powers in Albania and wants to imprison all Parliament Members. After failing to kill me, Meta is trying to imprison me, by making all state structures collaborators of his crime, including the Parliament”, Doshi wrote on Facebook.

The MP of Shkoder considered this request as politically biased and not based on law.

“There is no other explanation besides the political reasons. The Prosecution is rushing to make a public show with arrests, when a few days ago I asked them to administer as evidence the meeting of Spartak braho and Fatjon Skenderaj in Hanover, before he could testify and manipulate the declaration”, he adds.

Doshi raises some questions on the investigation.

“Why this rush when the international factor is unifying the stance for an international investigation of these accusations? Why didn’t they use the Sheraton camera footage for those who followed me? Why didn’t they analyze the footage of the murder attempt against me, from a pizza delivery motorcycle right in front of the Albanian Parliament? Why didn’t they analyze the phone conversations of 45 witnesses in this investigation?”, Doshi says.

Doshi writes that no democratic country can close these investigations so quickly, without inquiring the smallest detail.

“I have always told the truth in front of the Prosecutors and God. This truth will be revealed. I am certain that these prosecutors have enough evidence to reveal the truth, but the political power above their heads doesn’t want it to happen”, Doshi concludes.
