The Prosecution of Serious Crimes has given the Ministry of Justice a deadline until this Friday to complete the translation of the Habilaj case and attach it to the investigation.
The 1800 pages of the criminal case were sent from Italy on October 19th.
After this material will be translated into Albanian, the investigation group will decide when to summon former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri for questioning.
The Prosecution are waiting an urgent translation of the case that is related to the arrest order, valid for 20 days, for another person wanted by the Italian judiciary, Nazer Seiti.
However, Seiti’s lawyer says he prefers to be tried in Italy rather than in Albania
