The Prosecution of Serious Crimes has seized the assets of Fatmir
Kajolli, suspected of creating this wealth based on criminal activities
for which he has been sentenced in Italy.
2.1 million square meters of forest property have been seized in Fier, including 1700 meters of buildings.
The Prosecution has made verifications based on the Antimafia law, and ahs received a permit from the Court of Serious Crimes to seize real estates of Fatmir Kajolli, Majlinda Cuko and Florim Kajolli.
Fatmir Kajolli was sentenced by the Milan Court in Italy with 24 years in prison for “trafficking, producing and possessing narcotics”. The Court of Rome has sentenced Kajolli with another 16 years in prison in 2000, for being part of a criminal organization.
