The Prosecution General declared that MPs Dashamir Tahiri, Shkelqim
Selami and the Mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Rroshi, have not declared their
former sentences with the decriminalization forms.
“Tahiri failed to declare a sentence for money laundering in Foggia, and in 2009 for driving with forged documents”. He said that for the falsified money he had been defrauded by a waiter”, according to the Spokeswoman of the Prosecution. While MP Selami, according to the Prosecution, has failed to declare a sentencing in 1994 for being part of organized crime. “He stayed in prison for one month and was released”, the Prosecution adds.
Mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Rroshi, has not declared the crime “gang rape” in Italy, and neither the various names used in Switzerland.
“Rroshi was sentenced by the Zurich police for drugs in 1993, and he tried to enter back to Switzerland in 1997, with another name, but he was repatriated after seeking asylum. DEA notified the Swiss police about another drug case in which Rroshi was involved”, she added.
The Prosecution is investigating for falsification of applications.
