The ID card number and income of Albanian citizens and many foreign citizens working in Albania, were distributed today to everyone in several posts on the internet.
After distributing the list of more than 630 thousand names of citizens employed in the private and state sector, the prosecution declares that it has started verifications for the dissemination of private material.
The Prosecution states that it is still in the verification phase and can not determine whether the leak of this data occurred from the government network e-albania.
Earlier, a database processed with the personal data of Albanian citizens was widely disseminated during the last elections.
For the latter file, the authorities failed to find out whether it was related to election corruption, but instead delegated the investigation to the capital’s prosecutor’s office.
