Prosecution investigates for delayed ambulance on Dr.Flori’s death

The Tirana Emergency Room has denied the accusations, saying that they have been at the singer’s house three minutes after the report. “His wife reported at first that he was drunk”, said Emergency directors.

The investigations started after some relatives claimed that the emergency was delayed. The police has taken testimonies of the relatives and doctors who were on duty.

The Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj, explained that the ambulance was inside the emergency room when the call was made.

“I want to express my condolences to the family for their loss. The official data show that the call was made at 10:08. At 09:40, a young woman has gone to the emergency room with a child in her hand, and asked help for a person who had consumed alcohol. The ambulance was at the emergency room when the call was made. The woman did not accept to have a police officer with the doctors, because in cases when the ambulance is called for a drunk person, the police is obligatory”, declared the Health Minister.

Dr.Flori died yesterday, possibly after an overdose. His funeral was held today after homage were paid by artists and music fans at the Public Radio Television.
