After the big arrest that had several members of the Avdulaj family detained, the Prosecution of Serious Crimes is investigating the possible involvement of the Durres Mayor with the gang, as his name is mentioned in the surveillance tape.
The Prosecution has not started an official case, but the surveillance has a number, which is suspected to be owned by the Durres Mayor, Vangjush Dako, talking to Altin Avduli, one day after the general elections of 2017. Dako appears to be wanting to talk to Astrit, with the intention to thank him. Astrit Avduli is arrested over drug trafficking charges and as one of the key people of the organized gang.
