Pristina municipality officials boycott trial

The six officials of the Pristina Municipality that were arrested on
power abuse charges, refused to appear in court, as predicted.

The defensive lawyers composed a mutual request, through which they demand their case to be investigated by EULEX prosecutors.

Tomë Gashi, one of the defensive lawyers, declared that their clients do not trust the Kosovo prosecution and judges, considering them politicized.

“We are awaiting an answer from the EULEX prosecution, if they will take this case under investigation or not”, Gashi declared.
