A draft law was sent to the Albanian Parliament for some amends in the
Criminal Code, to consider a crime the inclusion in foreign wars of

The law has been proposed by nine Parliament Members from the Socialist Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration, and one from the opposition, Tahir Muhedini.

Article 1 of the draft-law considers a crime that is punishable with 3 to 8 years in prison all participations in war operations held in the territory of a foreign soil without being a citizen of that country, without being part of the armed forces involved in the conflict, or of the international armed forces.

When this crime is committed for overthrowing the constitutional order or the territorial integrity of a foreign country, it is punishable from five to ten years. Five to 15 years is the proposition for those who encourage, recruit, create funds or other means for financing these persons.

The law also sanctions a punishment to three years in prison for those who make public appeals for participations in war activities.
