The Minister of Justice, Etilda gjonaj, announced that several prison directors would be replaced today.
The Minister said that the Directors of Lezha, Lushnje, Saranda, Rrogozhina, Peqin, Tepelena and Durres will be dismissed for power abuse and corruption.
Gjonaj said they have verified more than 150 cases when illegal objects have been allowed inside the prison, even narcotics.
The Minister added that no political interventions will be allowed to protect the law violators.
