Prishtina protest turns violent, dozens injured

The protest organized by the Self-Determination Movement in the center
of Prishtina. Their main request was the removal of the Serbian
Minister, Alexandar Jablanovich, from the “Mustafa” government. The
protest escalated n physical clashes, with dozens of wounded between the
protesters and the police.

After the organizers held speeches, a clash between the protesters and the police gave another direction to the situation. The police used tear gas to disperse the crowd that gathered at the “Skenderbeu” square.

Top Channel’s journalists in Kosovo say that several people were urgently sent to hospital. The protest organizers asked the police to not attack citizens, and they appealed to the protesters to stay calm and not throw solid objects.
