Protesters gathered in Prishtina’s “Zahir Pajaziti” square to protest
against the government of Kosovo and the economic and social conditions.
Protesters gathered at the Constitutional Court, which they painted in
black, in sign of protest.
Then they marched to the KEDS headquarters, where citizens protested against the expensive energy bills. They tried to enter the building, but were not allowed by police.
The protest continued at the RTK, the public television of Kosovo, which the opposition says is working for the parties in power.
Among the protesters there were leaders from the opposition parties, such as Fatmir Limaj, from the Initiative for Kosovo, Visar Ymeri, from the Self-Determination Movement, Ramush Haradinaj, etc.
Before the meeting, police officers removed hard objects that could be used by protesters and surrounded the Constitutional Court for security reasons. Fortunately, there was no incident.
