Prifti: I will vote Adriatik Llalla

Prifti declared that after a meeting with the Socialist MP, Tom Doshi, he decided to vote Adriatic Llalla as Prosecutor General, adding that as a devoted part of the opposition, he thinks that the rule of law needs EU integration, not sabotage.

The Socialists announced to abstain, and the Socialist MP Fatmir Xhafaj declared that the opposition is against the procedure chosen for the new Prosecutor, not against the candidate.

According to the SP, the new Prosecutor will be elected in May. Xhafaj accused Nishani of violating the Constitution with his election.

Tom Doshi goes against SP: I will vote Adriatic Llalla

While the SP declared that they will abstain in the voting for the new Prosecutor, MP Tom Doshi declared that he will vote in favour.

“I decided to vote Llalla because I believe that he is a man of integrity. He has investigated me twice and checked my assets even in Australia, by implementing the law correctly. I trust that he will be a prosecutor of all Albanians. I appealed the SP to vote him, since we voted him as chairman of the High Institution of Declaration and Audit of Assets”, Doshi declared.

Llalla was decreed by President Nishani this Monday.
