“Divided in two states, but we are one single nation”, said the Albanian President during his visit in Kosovo, where he participated in the inauguration of the statue of Idriz Seferi.
“I am happy to be here today, honoring Idriz Seferi, one of the best-known patriots who turned into a legend of our country. We are determined to honor and keep history alive’, President Meta said.
The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, said that Seferi is a figure of historic proportions for every time, for protecting the Albanian lands. His statue is being inaugurated on the verge of the 105th anniversary of independence. Seferi never ceased his efforts to rebel against the occupiers.
