The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, posted a message for all women on the International Women Day.
Meta says there is still a lot to do so that they can fully enjoy their freedoms and rights.
“Happy March 8th to all women, all mothers, daughters and sisters who sublimate the best values of our society with their sacrifices and dedication. This is the day to reflect that there is still much to do so that women can fully enjoy their freedom and rights, without discrimination and without violence. Their social, economic and political empowerment makes the Albanian family stronger, as the best guarantee for a European and progressive Albania”, Meta writes on Facebook.
