Presidents’ message: More political cooperation in 2015

The President asked the political class to behave according to the European standards, since our country aspires to be part of the European Union.

“The New Year is coming. For the third time, I have the privilege and honor to give my most sincere wishes for a new year closer to your aspirations. Happy New Year to everyone.

2014 was significant to our country, but the candidate status for the European Union was one of the main events.

Europe’s attention to Albania has never been bigger in history. As an answer, it has the desire of the Albanian people to get integrated. But the behavior of the Albanian political class should also have similar democratic standards.

I hope that this year will return the missing dialogue and the philosophy of cooperation, rather than that of exclusion, making the Parliament to turn into the voice of everyone, not only of one part, and through which are approved the basic, modern and long-term reforms, a product of our joint will.

I will a happy and successful year to the politicians, whose decisions affect us all. I and my family wish you a happy New Year and may God bless Albania.
