The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, organized an official reception
at the Palace of Brigades for the Independence Day of Albania.
Nishani thanked what he considered “the men who truly revived Albania”, such as Ismail Qemali and others who made possible this great day for Albania.
The President said the country now has two priorities: “Free and fair elections, and removing cannabis from our country”.
“Cannabis puts our future and our past at risk, our children, our democracy, integration, politics and the state”, Nishani said.
He appealed all parties to conclude an electoral reform as soon as possible.
