A vehicle of the motorcade that was escorting the Albanian president today has crashed near the Durres Beach.
The Mercedes Benz crashed against a vehicle that was being driven by Shpetim Skuma, a 36-year-old from Tirana.
Preliminary investigations show that the crash was not intentional.
The driver of the presidential escort has been lightly injured, and the police has stopped the 36–year-old driver while the investigations are still undergoing.
