The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, met with the President of the US Senate, Orrin Hatch, to whom he expressed gratitude for the assistance that the USA and the US Senate have given to Albania’s internal reforms.
“We are grateful to the USA and the Senate for helping us improve the rule o law and our democracy. Albanians will never forget the vital assistance that the USA have offered during our history. The USA are the main strategic partners of Albania, and we are committed to reinforce the strategic partnership in the future”, the President said.
As for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, the president underlined that it should guarantee the Europen future of both countries.
