Sources from the Presidency said for Top Channel that if the government
will not change the draft budget for 2017, and add funds for the
Presidency, they will take it to the Constitutional Court.
The Presidency had promised this before the budget was published, that they would challenge it if the budget would not treat the Presidency for the Institution that it actually is.
The Presidency asked the government to add 20 million ALL for the budget 2017, which also includes the oath ceremony for the new President.
The government, on the other hand, says they will cover the ceremony. The SMI, government ally, has supported President Nishani in this battle, declaring that this is about ridiculous figures.
