President urges for adequate military budget

The Albanian Military needs the right budget to face the everyday challenges, in order to reinforce and improve the standards already achieved, President Bujar Nishani said during the ceremony of appointment of Brigade General of Albanian Air Forces, Vladimir Avdiaj.
Nishani said that the army continuously faces civil and military security challenges, which need to be addressed by the right support from the state budget. During the ceremony, the President praised the contribution of the Air Forces in the last two decades, and emphasized that being a NATO member, Albania needs to raise its standards in order to cope with internal and global challenges.
