The Albanian President, Bamir Topi will arrive this Thursday in Serbia
for participating in a regional conference regarding cultural
inheritance.

President Topi will stay in Serbia until September third, meeting representatives of different participating states.

This conference has to do with reconciliation and inheritance, and it is gathering for the ninth time the Presidents of Southeastern Europe. This year it will be organized by the Serbian Presidency, excluding Kosovo representatives.

The conference will be held on September 2nd, in an old town that dates to the Roman era, Viminacijum, near Pozharevc.

This is the first time that President Topi is visiting Serbia in the quality of the President. One year ago he refused to be part in the summit of Southeastern Europe Presidents in Novi Sad, due to the political situation and the absence of Kosovo representatives, when the Serbs where boycotting every meeting where Prishtina representatives were invited.

The Presidents will try to send a message of coexistence and reconciliation of the peoples in the region.
