President reacts on Judge’s murder by husband: “Model punishment for the author”

The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, condemned the murder of Judge
Fildes Hafizi by her ex-husband, and encouraged law-enforcing
institutions to give a model punishment to the criminal, so that these
cases will not repeat in the future.
“The President expressed condolences to the family for the loss, encouraging the law-enforcing institutions and Albanian courts to bring the author to justice with a model punishment, so that crimes like this do not hurt Albanian families once again”, the Presidency said.
For Meta, this cruel murder is an alarm bell for the Albanian society. The President appeals all structures and mechanisms of the state to turn their attention on the Albanian women and mothers, who have unfortunately become victims of domestic violence.
