The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, reacted after the declaration
of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, saying that he has offended the
institution of the President.
The President’s reaction came after the declaration of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who said that he will not please a discredited and ridiculous President, but he will continue to build the children’s playground at the Tirana Artificial Lake Park.
Nishani met with activists and asked them to not withdraw from any pressure. He said that this is an emancipated movement, and asked them to implement the laws. President Nishani promised to offer his support for their cause.
