Albanian President, Bamir Topi, hosted the Head of the Observing Mission of OSCE-ODIHR, Jonathan Stonstreet.
Topi emphasized that “political parties must respect the independent institutions, because the rule of law and the democratic state becomes stronger by the consolidation of the independent institutions which take every step by respecting law and the Constitution”.
According to the Presidential press release, Stonstreed shared same thoughts with the Albanian President Topi for that fact that maturity, self-restraint and strict implementation of all laws, especially the Election Code, remains vital for Albania’s present and democratic future, adding that the election administration institutions must act only by respecting the law.
