The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, received a delegation from the US Congress, led by Bob Goodlatte.
Nishani and the US congressmen discussed the current political situation in Albania, the parliamentary elections, the judiciary reform, the rule of law, the concerns about the cannabis plantation and drug traffic, organized crime and the budget for military and defense, since Albania is a NATO member and loyal friend of the USA.
In this meeting they valued the dedication of President Nishani for intermediating dialogue between political parties.
