Socialist majority approves the law on obligatory work in the country for Albanian medical students 19/09 21:16
The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, had warned that if the budget
would not be amended and allow 20 million ALL for his institution, he
would ask a review of the Budget 2017 at the Constitutional Court.
The government responded with an amend that allowed his institution 10 million ALL, and this seems to have been enough for President Nishani to decree the Budget 2017.
The General Secretary of the Presidency, Florian Nuri, had asked an increased budget for the Presidency and 10 million ALL for operative spending. After negotiations, the government allowed only the operative spending addition.
