The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, met with Tirana University professors and asked them to hold their own responsibilities.
“The responsibility to write a real hitory of Albania, and to avoid debates if history will be corrected or rewritten. I trust that our history needs to be written even among the huge debates, due to periods of extreme ideologies which are part of our story. But our history is very rich, with its ups and downs, of course, but it has also contributed to the world”, Nishani declared.
For the President, writing history based on facts and evidence is not an easy task, but it requires much time, but work must start to put the history of Albanians where it belongs.
