The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, gave his congratulation message to the Albanian people for year 2020.
“My fellow Albanians. With the changing of years, in this traditional spiritual reunion of solidarity, in your warm homes, while you meet with your loved ones, I wish uyou a happy New Year. May it be prosperous, filled with happiness, love and peace in every family of our beloved Albania”, Meta declared.
“The disappointments that we are leaving behind with the past year may us help to make a deep and sincere reflection, so that 2020 can be the year when Albanians will realize their hopes, and get closer to the European family and its standards.
“Every honest and hard working Albanian wants more hope and deserves well bein, but also support and assistance, so that we can build a safer future in our homeland. Each of you deserves more positivity in an Albania that can be more fair, more compassionate and more humane”, Meta declared.
