President Meta visits Skrapar on its 75th liberation anniversary

The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, visited the ceremony for the 75th liberation anniversary of Skrapar.
After visiting the martyrs’ cemetery and the museum, Meta told local authorities and veterans that this was a marked day not only for Skrapar, but for the entire country.
“Skrapa was liberated just a few days before the glorious Peza Conference”, Meta said, adding that September fifth is a very important event, because it gave a strong ray of hope that the country could be liberated and the occupiers could be defeated.
“Skrapar gave more than 2000 partisans to the National Liberation Antifascist War, and 300 martyrs to the country. The people of Skrapar will never forget the sacrifices and heroism of its patriots”, Meta added.
