30 years ago, Albania established diplomatic relations with Germany.
On this anniversary, President Meta attended a visit in Germany, where he decorated the former Prime Minister of Bavaria, Franz Strauss, who had visited our country in 1984.
The post-mortem decoration was accepted by his daughter, Monika Holmeier, today a German European MP.
President Meta visited Cologne, invited to an activity for the diaspora.
The dialogue starting from the State Ministry for the Diaspora, to help them with more rights, is a good chance to face the pressure of globalization, according to President Meta.
