The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, underlined the need of a joint energy market for the region, at the regional economic conference “the Future of Balkan”.
“Albania’s path to the EU is not different from that of other countries in the region. This conference should address our joint challenges, to follow strategic projects for the entire region, such as the project of a joint energy market”, Meta declared.
The President appealed for creating the necessary conditions to stop youth from leaving the countries of the region, a phenomenon that damages economic development.
