President Meta refuses to decree Gjinushi as Director of the Science Academy

The President of Albania, Ilir meta, refused to decree Skender Gjinushi as the new Head of the Science Academy.

Gjinushi’s resignation as leader of the Social Democratic Party was not formalized with a legal decision making, before the elections for the academy were held. This is the argument that Meta used to refuse the decree.

Before announcing the decision, Meta held a meeting with Mrs.Gjinushi, as acting Director of the Science Academy.
