The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, declared that during his term as President he will not pardon persons who have been arrested for domestic violence.
The President asked government institutions to work together and prevent human traffic and violence.
“The recent tragic victims of domestic violence, Ariela Murati and Fildez Hafizi, make us aware that the central government, social centers, human right organizations, police officers, prosecutors, judges and everyone else, need to cooperate for avoiding violence and traffic of any Albanian woman or any other person in need”.
