The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, greeted the operation of the police for seizing 613 kg of cocaine at the Durres Port.
Meta said that the main risk to Albania national security comes from the organized crime.
He appealed law-enforcing agencies to intensify their cooperation with international partners.
Meta greeted the role of the Italian anti-mafia for the consistent risks that Albania is facing by the empowering of organized crime.
The President reiterated the necessity to increase the security capacities in the border, and encouraged a purge of the State Police from all incriminated elements.
