President Meta: More dialogue with the Diaspora

The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, said that there should be more dialogue for the Diaspora since our country remains in debt with them as regards support.
The President spoke at the conference “Day of Dialogue with Diaspora”, in Cologne, Germany.
Meta said that the promotion of identity, heritage, and Albanian language through joint activities from Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Presheva, are very important for building better cooperation bridges and to better face the pressure that globalization has on the preservation of national traditions.
Considering Albanian artists, sportsmen and other creators in European countries as the best ambassadors, Meta appealed all Albanians for a joint effort to improve the “brain-drain” and “brain-gain” ratio in Albania.
