President Meta meets Tusk: “Encouragement for deepening reforms”

The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, announced that he has held a meeting with the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk.

“Encouragement to accelerate the deepening of reforms in five key priorities. Waiting positive messages from the Sofia summit and the European Council in June”, the President says.

The positive message from the EU Council in June is expected to be the opening of the accession negotiations by the EU.

The encouragement for deepening the reforms in five key reforms is related to the priorities that brought the positive recommendation for opening Albania’s accession negotiations.
