The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, met with the European Parliament rapporteur for Albania, Knut Fleckenstein.
According to the official announcement of the Presidency, the talk focused on the major importance of implementing the judiciary reform and a wide consensus between the government and opposition.
“It is very important for this process to advance with the all-inclusive reforms, with wide consensus between the opposition and majority, with the purpose to have Albania fully integrated in the Eu and build a climate of cooperation”, Meta said.
The President underlined that the implementation of the judiciary reform is extremely important, especially the Vetting Law progress, with the purpose to create the new judiciary institutions the soonest possible.
