One day after the Croatian Supreme Court made way for Ismail Morina’s
extradition to Serbia, President Ilir Meta summoned the Croatian
Ambassador to Albania, Sanja Bujas Juraga.

Meta expressed his concern for Morina’s life in case he is extradited, and that he will not be guaranteed a fair trial.

The Belgrade Justice Minister, Nela Kuburovic, considered declarations about an unfair trial speculation. She said that the Serbian courts would guarantee Morina a fair trial.

Morina has been in Croatia from July 31st, where he made an asylum request.

Protests for Morina have been present in every match played by Kosovo and Serbia.
