President Ilir Meta decrees September 9th as first Parliamentary session

The first Parliamentary session for the new legislature will gather on September 9th, at 10:00.

President Ilir Meta decreed this date for the new Parliament that came out of the June 25th elections.

According to the regulation, the first session will be led by the oldest MP. If he refuses, it will be led by the next oldest MP.

Three other MPs will also be chosen for the Secretariat which will set up the procedures for appointing the new Speaker.
