President decorates local hero who died trying to stop a robbery

The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, has decorated Agur Vrenozi with the “Golden Eagle”, after his death.

Vrenozi lost his life trying to help a fellow citizen in Fier who was being robbed in a money exchange shop.

The motive of the President for giving this decoration was for the heroic and sublime action, being an inspiration for the entire society by reacting against criminal violence in order to protect the social peace.
