The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, honored the Legal Councilor of the
US Justice Department for Albania, the legal expert of the OPDAT
Mission, Cinthya Aldrige, with the “Gratitude Medal”.
The solemn ceremony was held at the Presidency, in presence of the US Ambassador, Alexander Arvizu; the Supreme Court President, Shpresa Becaj; the Head of the High Inspectorate for the Declaration and Audit of Assets (HIDAA), Adriatik Lalla; General Prosecutor, Ina Rama, and many lawyers and other prosecutors.
President Topi thanked all honest prosecutors and judges who honor the justice system with their impartial integrity.
“But now is needed more than ever to make the difference between the unqualified people, the partial people and those who try to enter corruptive affairs in the justice system”, the President declared, saying that this battle should be led by everyone.
Mrs. Aldrige thanked the President, the Prosecution’s Association and all Prosecutors who had made the recommendation for this medal.
“I really see this as an evaluation for the OPDAT, not for me personally”, she declared.
