The former US Ambassador, Alexander Arvizu, received a title of honor “For Special civilian Merits” by the Albanian President, Ilir Meta.
The President rewarded him with the motivation: “Honoring his diplomatic activity and precious contribution in progressing with the bilateral relations during his term as ambassador of the USA; and for the support of the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
Present in the ceremony were several personalities of the diplomatic body accredited to Albania.
President Meta held a speech in which he considered Arvizu as a friend of Albania and of all Albanians.
